EDA Members (wholesalers) and EDA Affiliated Members (manufacturers and solutions providers) automatically become Associate Members of ETIM UK and Ireland Ltd.
Currently there over 120 manufacturers and solution (software) providers that are also Associate Members of the EDA and ETIM UK Ltd, and over 260 wholesalers.
ETIM standard is at the heart of the EDATA data pool
EDATA, the electrotechnical sector’s data pool which is operated by the Electrical Distributors’ Association (EDA), has the ETIM standard built-in.
Wholesalers accessing the EDATA data pool can view each product’s ETIM Class, Features and Values, as long as these have been added by the manufacturer.
Adoption of the ETIM standard is a key factor when awarding manufacturers EDATA’s Gold Data Quality Standard.
